The A’s have signed 24-year old righty swinging outfielder D’Arby Myers to a minor league deal. Myers played in 67 games in A+AA-ball ball for the Phillies last year and he was 58 of 190 (.305 avg, .770 OPS) with 31 runs scored, 4 homers, 19 RBIs and 12 stolen bases. He has now played in 453 games in his first seven years in the minors and he is 401 of 1,557 (.258 avg, .653 OPS) with 221 runs scored, 15 homers, 134 RBIs and 86 stolen bases. He will likely start the 2013 season in AAA-ball.
