Gary Daley of the Oakland A’s gets suspended for 50 games
27-year old righty starter/reliever Gary Daley has been suspended for 50 games due to testing positive for PEDs. He pitched in 34 games (18 starts) in AA-ball last year for the A’s and he was 10-10 with 2 saves, a 5.11 ERA and a 1.70 WHIP. Daley has now pitched in 178 games (114 starts) in his first seven years in the minors and he is 35-50 with 2 saves, a 5.91 ERA and a 1.75 WHIP. This isn’t much of a loss for the A’s and it could cost Daley his job.
