He is also shooting 42.1% from three point range so far this year and that is pretty solid. In Thompson’s 11 starts this year, he is averaging 35.4 minutes, 18.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game. The Warriors dealt Monta Ellis in part to make room in the starting lineup for Klay Thompson and he has repaid them well so far for their confidence in him.

The Warriors have signed 23-year old PF/C Keith Benson for the remainder of the season. He was drafted last year in the second round by the Atlanta Hawks, who cut him before the season started. The Warriors were desperate for a big man and that led to Benson getting this shot with them.
